We are keeping the guest list limited to 30 people. Our plan is to throw a large reception with extended family and friends once it is safe to do so. We are hopeful that a majority of guests will be vaccinated by June, but want play it safe. All events will take place outdoors. Guests will have access to their rooms/individual restrooms during all events. We are still working out how food and drink will be served, but rest assured, your health and wellbeing is our priority while we celebrate together.
Mazama is fairly rural and cell service is limited. We're told Verizon customers will have some service, but to be safe, have your google map loaded well before you get into the valley. The Ranch House has reliable wi-fi which we connect to for calls/texting.
If you'd like to try fat biking or forget to pack an outdoor essential, the valley is packed with outdoor gear stores. Goat's Beard Mountain Supply is right next to the Mazama store just a 2 minute walk away. There are a number of other stores in Winthrop as well, Winthrop Mountain Sports is our favorite.
The Mazama Store: Delicious breakfast & lunch options, best baguette outside of France. 2 min walk from the Ranch House Rocking Horse Bakery: Delicious breakfast & lunch options, no baguettes. A 15 minute drive from the Ranch House. There are a number of other options in Winthrop. COVID has caused many restaurants to change their hours, but if they are open, Old Schoolhouse Brewery, East 20 Pizza, & the Methow Valley Cider House are good spots with outdoor dining. Groceries: The Mazama Store is great for prepared food, but groceries there are $$$ There is a Thriftway in Winthrop, just a 20 minute drive away.
