Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is approximately 1 hour from Poplar Springs Manor. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Poplar Springs Manor.

Travel Note

Driving on Friday, 11/1 from the DC metropolitan area

Getting to Poplar Springs Manor should take 1 hour from the DMV. Traffic can and most probably will be heavy driving westbound on I-66 and other highways on Friday afternoon. If driving from northern VA, DC or MD, please allow extra time for such traffic and if you can, use the express lanes.

If you plan on arriving earlier, Old Town Alexandria is a great place to stay. Located on the Potomac waterfront, Old Town has great shopping and restaurants, history, architecture and more. Old Town goes all out for Halloween and we'll be hosting a dessert welcome that night at Murphy's. If you are in the area, please join us. There are many hotel options in Alexandria and Old Town is approximately a one hour drive to the wedding venue - Poplar Springs Manor in Warrenton.
