We met back in the fall of 2018. Amidst our best efforts at being young and independent, we had both ended up back in our parent's homes in Tinley Park. After a few weeks of talking on the phone, we took a chance on each other and set out on our first date. What sticks out about our first few dates is the conversation and the overwhelming feeling of being right where we needed to be – with each other. Over the past 3 years, we have slowly become a family of three with Jack. With each challenge and with each victory, we are reminded of our very first night of meeting. So early on, we both knew how amazing a “we” could be. On a quick trip to Savannah in the spring of 2021, we decided that forever was going to be the plan. In a local park, Dan brushed up on his gentlemen skills and took a knee. What followed was the quickest "yes" of Kaitlin's life. We look forward to our wedding day in Grand Rapids and tackling together all of life's curveballs as a Cobb crew.
