Travel Note

Map from Canmore

FYI - Hwy 742 is a gravel road that can be quite dusty and bumpy! Taking highway 40 to 742 is a stunning drive, but you can also go through Canmore. We also recommend refuelling before you venture down highway 40 (there is a gas station as soon as you turn onto Hwy 40) or in Dead Man's Flats or Canmore if you go through Canmore.
