FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that all RSVPs be submitted by March 28th, 2027. This helps us share accurate numbers with our vendors and caterers as they prepare for the day.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

Dinner will be served buffet-style. The menu includes: Mains: Chicken breast in a white wine sauce and roast beef with au jus Sides: Seasonal vegetables, roasted fingerling potatoes, rice pilaf, and salad A children’s option of chicken fingers will also be available.

Question

Are you registered? If so, where?

Answer

Yes, we are! We’ve registered at a few different places, and you can find everything linked through our MyRegistry page on the Registry section of our website.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before the ceremony start time (as listed in the schedule). This helps ensure everything runs smoothly and allows you to settle in before it begins.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the occasion, we kindly suggest garden party attire, light, polished, and comfortable for an outdoor setting. For women, floral dresses, sundresses, and flowy midi or maxi dresses are all great choices. For men, dress pants or chinos paired with a button-down shirt are perfect. Ties are optional, and sport coats are welcome but not required. As the celebration will take place outdoors on grass and natural terrain, we recommend choosing footwear that is both stylish and practical. To help the wedding party stand out, we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white, ivory, cream, blush pink, or navy blue.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The invitation includes the guests specifically named, and we have reserved seating accordingly. As much as we would love to include everyone, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests due to space restrictions. We kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend. Please take a moment to review your invitation for the events you’ve been included in.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available. Guests are welcome to park in our neighbour Miles’ driveway at the end of the road (the last driveway on the right, up the hill). From there, it is a short walk to the ceremony space on our property at 58 Carty Road.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are welcome to attend if they are included on your invitation. We kindly ask that only those named join us.

Question

Will my child have a seat at my table?

Answer

There will be dedicated tables for the children, complete with colouring supplies to keep them busy and entertained. Children 2 and under will stay with you at your table and sit on your lap, as they’re a bit too young for the children’s table.

Question

Shoes?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place on grass, which can be soft depending on the weather. For that reason, stilettos or narrow heels may not be the most comfortable option. We recommend chunkier heels, flats, or heeled sandals. For men, dress shoes or loafers are ideal.
