We're Getting Married!

It all started with a dare. Sixteen-year-old Kaili was dared by some friends to message random people online (because what could possibly go wrong, right?). One of those “randoms” happened to be Jared, and somehow, they haven’t stopped talking since. They were supposed to meet for the first time at Jared’s baseball game against Kaili’s high school. Except Jared got way too nervous to say hello. (Yes, she showed up, and yes, he completely avoided her. Smooth move.) As Kaili and her friend Jordyn were leaving the game, Jordyn leaned over and whispered that Jared had spent the entire time stealing little glances at Kaili. After that night, the two of them kept talking. Jared sent endless apologies for being awkward, and if you know Jared, you know he’ll do just about anything to make things right. Looking back, that shy, nervous teenager was the beginning of something really special. As awkward as that first meeting was, neither of them would change it for the world. Fast forward eight years, and here they are. Side by side, they’ve made it through high school, college and university, multiple jobs, a global pandemic, road trips, travels, and a couple of very spoiled dogs. They’ve grown up together, laughed through the chaos, supported each other through every stage of life, and somehow still really like each other. Welcome to our wedding website! We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you, the people who have cheered us on since that very questionable teenage dare and supported us along the way.
