As much as we love all your kids, our wedding events (welcome dinner, ceremony, reception) will be kid free. If your kids are coming for the weekend, please make sure you share a room or get an airbnb as space is limited in Redstone! There is a great babysitting service nearby (Aspen Nannies) if needed.
There will be options for those with food allergies or special diets. Please let Kaila or Grant know so we can make sure you get a meal you can eat!
Nope! The town of Redstone is very small and all within a 3 minute walk of the Redstone Inn.
We will be having a welcome party on Friday, July 12 at the Redstone Gallery in town (2 minute walk from the Redstone Inn and very close to the other hotels). We appreciate you all for traveling so far for our wedding, so everyone is welcome to join!
The welcome dinner is dressy casual. Optional but encouraged: Any sort of western wear (bolo ties, cowboy boots, cowboy hats, cool belt buckles, etc.).. we are in the CO mountains after all! The wedding will be cocktail attire. Optional to add a western flair to this outfit as well. Think nice dresses and suits with cowboy boots or hats, bolo ties, etc. Grant will be wearing a bolo tie and Kaila will be wearing some elevated cowboy boots under her dress!
It can! It varies for different people. Make you sure drink LOTS of water (i'm talking to you Michael Twomey) and let your body adjust for a day or two before doing anything too strenuous. You can find cans of oxygen at most store in CO (people say they work!) or get a prescription medication if you are really worried. One important thing to note- the altitude effects your alcohol consumption. Try to stick to the rule that one drink at sea level equals two drinks in a high altitude environment.
There is zero cell phone service in the town of Redstone, but everywhere has wifi. Make sure you start your GPS before you leave so you don't lose directions!
