Shelton
This is the sweet town that Tom grew up in! It's about 30 minutes from the hotel and is a sweet logging town along the inlets of the Puget Sound. The Lanphears and Mankes - Tom's family - have been in Shelton for generations. We recommend checking out downtown Shelton for a sweet tourist afternoon. Enjoy a coffee at Uraco, a beer and a pizza at Railroad Tap Station, or a donut at Duchess Donuts. Enjoy!
Seattle
The city that Kaia grew up in! So many fun activities to do here when you first get into town OR on your way out. Lots of fun breweries like Ravenna Brewing Co. near the University of Washington, shopping at University Village, kayaking on Lake Union or Lake Washington, going for a nice walk at Magnusen Park. Downtown you can explore the iconic Space Needle, the Experience Music Project (EMP) museum, Pike Place Market, the first Starbucks, and more!
