We know invitations have been sent out later than expected, we are asking guests to respond via the "RSVP" tab as soon as you receive your invitation, so we may make proper accommodations as soon as possible. Thank you.
Please keep in mind when choosing footwear, that the ceremony and most of the reception will be held outdoors and on grassy lawn. Flats or even dressy flip flops would be acceptable for the ceremony. Heels should be avoided for the possibility of sinking into the lawn.

You can find our plan for the wedding day in the "Schedule" tab at the top of our website page. We are asking guests to arrive at 2PM (1400). Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3PM (1500).
The grooms will be wearing linen suits to encourage a relaxed, yet formal look for the ceremony. We are going for a tropical fall theme. Earth tones (beige, khaki, browns, and sand), fall colors (burnt oranges, maroons, and deep reds) as well as floral prints should be appropriate attire. It will be fall in Southern California, meaning the weather will typically be mild during the day with a cooling trend toward the evening.
"Kahoiwai" is Trevor Kalei's grandmother, Leina'ala Kahoiwai's maiden name. When she immigrated to the mainland with her son Steve, chose the surname of "Owen". In admiration of his grandmothers Native Hawaiian roots, Trevor Kalei chose "Kahoiwai" as his surname. "Kahoiwai" is properly pronounced KA-HO-EE-VI. Additionally, "Kalei" was Trevor's given name at birth, it is pronounced KAH-LAY.
