Check out some FAQs, if you have any additional questions - feel free to text (585) 216-5324! We can not wait to see you in February!
Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

The sooner the better! We understand that planning our busy lives for a destination takes time and coordination. We kindly ask that we receive your RSVP no later than December 1st, 2023. This will help tremendously for setting up our venues, guest accommodations and events for success for the weekend! You can view/update your RSVP for the weekend's events on the RSVP page on our website. We appreciate y'all!

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Wedding festivities will begin for our wedding guests on Friday, February 16th and conclude the evening of Sunday, February 18th. Details on events throughout the weekend are listed on the "Events" page of our website. We hope that you will come and make a weekend of it, and maybe even extend a couple days before or after to get the full experience and time in the sun!

Question

Where should I fly into and where should I stay?

Answer

Check out our "Travel" page for more details on where to fly and where to stay. Tip - Palm Springs also has the best AirBnB's! Many of them are mid-century/retro vibes. If you do decide to get an AirBnB, make sure it is in Palm Springs and not other cities such as Indio. We also suggest an AirBnB with a pool because...you should be floating in a pool everyday other than our wedding day!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

As much as we love all of the kiddos, our wedding weekend is filled with mostly adult-only events. Kids are welcome to accompany you on the trip, however please arrange for sitters for various events. Events that are adult-only include: Friday's Golf Gathering & Welcome Meet & Greet, Saturday's Wedding Ceremony and Reception. We suggest if you can't find a sitter back home, you can still bring your beautiful babies and hire a sitter at your AirBnB/Hotel in Palm Springs for the day of our wedding. There are also daycares in the area as well!

Question

What are the details of the events for the weekend?

Answer

Check out our "Events" page of our website for more details on the events throughout the weekend. Don’t worry, it’s not fully scheduled, so make sure you also look at the "Things to Do" page for some suggestions on things to do around Palm Springs.

Question

Wardrobe to pack for Palm Springs?

Answer

February should be absolutely gorgeous in Palm Springs, with the average temperature being 75° during the day and 50° at night. Remember it's the desert! Cool in the mornings, hot in the afternoon and chilly at night! Make sure to bring a jacket or layers for the evening festivities! As with all trips, we recommend that you check the weather the week prior to arriving to ensure you are prepared. Last year on the same date as our wedding, it was 73 degrees as the high and 59 degrees as the low. Here are a few tips for what to pack and wear throughout the weekend. * Daytime Attire: Palm Springs is relaxed and low key. You can get away with anything appropriate for warm weather. Make sure you pack a swimsuit, as the pools are one of the main highlights! * Nighttime Attire: No one needs to get too dressed up when going out in Palm Springs, and a lot of time your daytime outfits are perfect for nighttime. We do suggest bringing a jacket or something else to layer with, as the desert drops temperature at night. * Athleisure: Highly recommend packing some comfy athletic clothes that can go from a hike to coffee to lounging by the pool.

Question

What is the attire for each event?

Answer

If you are anything like Chris, you usually spend an exorbitant amount of time packing/deciding what wardrobe is appropriate for your trip! *Welcome Drinks: Desert casual, meaning you can wear whatever you’re comfortable with! Palm Springs is a little trendy, so feel free to throw on something fun and bright to join us for drinks in the bar! *Golf Tournament: For those of you who plan to play in our fun wedding golf gathering, please bring appropriate golf attire. Country Club appropriate golf attire : golf shoes, collared shirt - no jeans. *Wedding Ceremony & Reception - Semi-Formal / Cocktail - Bring your dancing shoes! Tip: Ceremony will be held on a grassy lawn, highly recommend block heels, avoid pointy heels/stilettos. Cocktail hour and Reception is a short 40 foot walk to the venue's outdoor patio!

Question

What do you recommend doing in Palm Springs?

Answer

Palm Springs is so fun and has so many things to do! We personally love hanging by the pool and then doing some daytime adventures like hiking and through Palm Springs and the surrounding areas. We have a whole list of things like food, drink, and exploring options on our Activities page. Check it out! If you have any questions or want additional insight please feel free to call or text us!

Question

Can I bring my friend/date?

Answer

Our wedding is intimate + on the smaller side. Venue has a max capacity, and we can not add any more guests other than those that are invited. We ask that you kindly respect our wishes and can't wait to see you all there! Thank you!!

Question

Are there any hotel pools that are open to the public?

Answer

Yes! That is another reason why we LOVE Palm Springs! Most of the hotel pools in Palm Springs are open to the public, such as; The Arrive, Ace Hotel, The Saguaro. However, some of the higher end hotels such as; The Parker, The Avalon Hotel, do NOT allow outside guests. Feel free to call the hotel ahead of time just to make sure. *TIP: Restaurants in hotels are mostly all open to the public :)
