Is there any construction I should be aware of?

Answer

Yes! Highway 16 is currently under construction and The Hay Loft has advised that using Google Maps is currently providing the best real-time routes. Please see the link below for detailed direction just in case you! https://www.hayloftbarn.com/directions

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We have a very limited hotel block for those who are coming in from out of state. For those who we haven't reached out to about a hotel block, please see our Travel page for our hotel recommendations.

What's the Dress Code?

Answer

Please dress in semi-formal attire. This means no jeans or other casual wear.

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please send in your RSVP no later than July 31, 2025.

What time should I arrive?

Our ceremony starts at 3:30pm, please arrive no later than 3:00pm.

Is there parking available near the venue?

Answer

The Hay Loft (W2765 East Gate Drive, Watertown, WI) has parking available and is wheelchair accessible.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be indoors with the opportunity for cocktail hour to be both indoor and outdoor (weather permitting).

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing a plus one, unless noted on the invitation.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We kindly ask that children stay at home, unless otherwise noted on the invitation or they are asked to attend by the bride and groom.

What's the bar situation?

Answer

Beer and wine are free all night, everything else is cash only and there will be an ATM on site.

Is there a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

There will be no rehearsal dinner. For our guests who are coming out of town, please visit our travel page for recommendations in the area.

Can I take Photos at the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that during the ceremony, phones and cameras be put away. During the reception, photos are encouraged and recommended!
