Words of Advice

While Block Island is a common summer attraction for many of us CT residents, it is essentially a destination wedding for many of our guests! If you are not from the area and/or have never visited the island before, please research ahead of time! We have provided just a fraction of the information you can obtain from the websites below by clicking on each link, or calling. We HIGHLY recommend you book your ferry travel well in advance! Block Island is a busy place in the summer, and ferries run on strict schedules. The ferry ride ranges from 30 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes depending on where you leave from. We recommend arriving to your port at least 30 minutes before you board to ensure you can find parking. We recommend booking a time that allows you to arrive to Block Island at least 2-3 hours before the wedding begins (if not earlier… just in case), so that you can check in to the hotel and settle in for an AMAZING day! :)
