We're all posted up here for a few days so might as well check out the area! Estes Park
Tourist mountain town, about 30 minutes away from our accommodations in Lyons, CO, and at the foot of Rocky Mountain National Park. Quaint downtown strip, hiking trails, mini-golf, horseback riding, ATVs, zipline, rafting, guided tours, fly fishing, wild-life sight-seeing, etc. Also home of the historic, haunted Stanley hotel, featured in movies Dumb and Dumber and The Shining
Boulder
The birthplace of our handsome groom. Nick and Kaelene will be spending the second half of the wedding weekend here! Things to do: Pearl Street walking mall - shopping, bars, restaurants, markets, street performers, Dushanbe Teahouse, etc. Unique to Boulder: Pearl Street, The Flatirons at Chautauqua Park, CU Campus (Nick's re-birthing), Flagstaff for a nice view just a drive up Boulder Canyon Several Hiking Trails and views in and around Boulder - be sure to look up the challenge ratings and mileage to best choose and prepare
Denver
If you're more of a city-folk... or you want to experience a "day-in-the-life" of the bride and groom Some of our favorite neighborhoods: RiNo, Sloan's Lake, Berkeley/Highlands Favorite retail areas: Tennyson Street, 32nd Ave, RiNo, Sloan's Favorite (nice) Restaurants: American Elm, The Plimoth oh and Nick's all-time favorite watering hole and restaurant, Billy's Inn. You'll see him here multiple times a week (or day), although he's working on cutting back... Popular Attractions in and around Denver: Larimer Square, Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater, Coors Brewery/Golden, CO, and many more
