Renting a car is the easiest, most cost-effective way to get to Boca Grande. However, once on the island you will find you will not use your car often as golf carts, walking and bikes are recommended. Please note there are no gas stations on the island. Make sure to get fuel before arriving to the island. Be advised of the toll for the Boca Grande Bridge. Rideshare apps like Uber & Lyft are available for rides to the island (roughly $100-$150). Please note if using Uber/Lyft they have limited coverage for the area. You cannot request a return ride to the airport once in Boca Grande, so please be sure to make other arrangements for your return trip. Most of the wedding celebration events are being held at the Gasparilla Inn and Club which is a classic “Old Florida” resort located on Gasparilla Island on the Gulf of Mexico. An Historic Hotel of America Landmark Inn serving discerning guests since 1913, the resort offers 142 luxurious accommodations and a host of fun and appealing activities for families, couples, and groups that enjoy “Florida as it was meant to be.” The Gasparilla Inn is a VERY popular destination, and rooms at the Inn get booked well in advance. We highly encourage you to book a room now; if you are not able to attend your deposit is completely refundable if you cancel at least 30 days in advance. For reservations and information, please call our special wedding booking number, (855)-421-4428, and reference the Hosman/Lipsky wedding. A two night minimum stay is required. Please note online booking is not available. We also have blocks of rooms reserved at the Innlet (1/2 mile from the Gasparilla Inn), The Boca Grande Hotel, and the Palmetto Inn (one block from the Gasparilla Inn). Please reference the Hosman/Lipsky wedding when making reservations. A two-night minimum stay is required at all of these properties. Please note that only guests staying at the Gasparilla Inn will have access to the beach club, tennis facilities, spa and golf course. The Innlet has an onsite pool and is across the street from a public beach access point.
