The Gasparilla Inn Beach Club features a family pool with changing facilities and a sparkling white sand beachfront. A spacious, glass enclosed dining room for lunch and late afternoon food and beverage service is also available to resort guests. The spacious and picturesque Gulf Room is available for private functions, as well as weddings. The Gasparilla Inn Spa, The James Griffith Salon, Lap Pool, and a fully equipped Fitness Center and Exercise Studio are also part of the resort’s expansive Beach Club complex. The Gasparilla Inn Beach Club is private and reserved for guests and members only. Daily hours of operation at the Beach Club are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Port Boca Grande Lighthouse, built in 1890, was originally used to safely guide ships into the Charlotte Harbor. The lighthouse is an iron screw pile design with a wood frame and when lit, is visible from up to 12 miles away. It is one of only six lighthouses in Florida to be open to the public, and the only one on the west coast. The lighthouse is currently home to a museum filled with the rich history of Gasparilla Island. Learn about the Calusa Native Americans, the island’s role in the phosphate industry of the 1900s, and the world-famous tarpon fishing in the Boca Grande Pass.

Lifted, Club Car Onward carts will allow you to enjoy stay and get where you need to be. Parking is tight on the island, but with your rental golf cart or bike you will always have a place to park. They’re also a lot of fun! We offer golf carts with either four or six passenger seating. Have fun in your rental golf cart as you whisk your family or friends around town to visit your favorite shops and restaurants. Is it a trip to the Temp for a lunch, or down to South Beach for dinner? Our 5 star staff will give you all the instruction you need to operate a golf cart and make sure you know how to charge it so you can keep going all week.
Known as “The Pink,” this is a great option for a casual lunch downstairs, or a nice dinner in their upstairs dining room. Walk-ins only for the downstairs portion of the restaurant, however, the upstairs does accept reservations. Located at the Boca Grande Marina, near the heart of town, Miller’s Dockside is a great laid-back destination for food and drink. You will probably find the father of the bride here enjoying a Grouper Sandwich or Fish Tacos. Upstairs, the Eagle Grille offers a more formal restaurant with an amazing view of the marina and harbor.
Know to the locals simply as “The Temp,” the bar portion serves up the best selection of Bourbon on the island. It is the oldest restaurant on the island and is so authentically retro, it’s actually cool. Accoutrements aside, delicious food and excellent service never go out of style. And, here you will find both. The fish could not get any fresher!
A great option for Italian food and great wine. Located in the old “Theater Building” in the historic village, Scarpa’s Coastal serves Italian classics with an emphasis on fresh pastas and locally caught seafood.
Hurricane Ian may have destroyed the South Beach Grille, but its chef and amazing food is back at Mimi’s. Open for lunch and dinner or take out (941) 964-0765.
Coincidentally located in the Innlet Hotel at 11th and East Railroad Avenue, the Outlet has the best breakfast on the island and serves lunch dockside until 2 pm. Great views of the bayou.
Formerly The Loose Caboose, this is a casual, laid-back option for breakfast or lunch. Located in the Historic Railroad Depot, you can eat in the actual passenger waiting room of the depot, or sit outside on the patio and watch the world go by. The Loose Caboose ice cream window is still open, and serves what is said to be the island’s best.
The Inn’s Dining Room serves a full breakfast. For dinner, savor a four-course, traditional heritage experience in an atmosphere of intimacy and grace. It is open to the public and guests for breakfast and dinner only. Breakfast: Shorts and island casual wear. No bathing suits or tank tops. Dinner: Gentlemen wear dress slacks and collared shirts. A jacket or tie is not required until December 20th. Ladies’ apparel should be comparable to the gentlemen, such as blouses, skirts, dresses and dress slacks. Jeans, shorts or tank tops are not permitted.
Located directly on the Gulf of Mexico, the Inn’s private Beach Club serves beverages poolside, on their own beach, as well as fresh and delightful daily luncheons. Open to guests of the Gasparilla Inn and members only.
