If time allows, we encourage you to take a stroll, soak it all in, and enjoy discovering the city at your own pace.
Philadelphia Museum of Art
The Philadelphia Museum of Art is iconic both inside and out. Be sure to take a moment to run (or walk!) up the famous Rocky Steps and enjoy the incredible view of the city from the top—don’t forget a photo at the Rocky statue while you’re there.
Sabrina's Cafe
If you're craving brunch (or honestly, any meal), Sabrina's Cafe is a Philly staple you don't want to miss. They catered our engagement party, and the food was absolutely incredible—seriously, you know how good it was! With generous portions, creative dishes, and a cozy vibe, it's the perfect spot to fuel up before exploring the city. Fair warning: there's usually a wait, but it's totally worth it.
Museum of Illusions Philadelphia
If you're looking for something fun to do with the kids, check out the Museum of Illusions in Old City! It's full of trippy exhibits and cool photo ops that'll mess with your brain in the best way. Plan for about an hour to walk through it's a quick, entertaining stop that's fun for everyone. Plus, it's right near all the historic stuff if you want to make a day of exploring Philly.

We stumbled onto this gem after a long travel day back from Texas, and wow—the food was amazing. Grandma's Philly serves up comfort food that hits the spot every time, with that homestyle cooking vibe that makes you feel like you're eating at, well, grandma's house. It's become one of our favorite spots, and we highly recommend stopping by if you want a delicious, no-frills meal that'll leave you completely satisfied.
