Ely had found his faith years earlier, giving his life to Christ and finding a home at Proof Church. Kadi, raised in church but distant for years, was in a season of searching — longing to grow closer to God again. Around that same time, both Ely and Kadi were praying for the right person — someone genuine, kind, selfless, and after God’s heart. Neither knew that those prayers were already being answered. One ordinary day, Kadi came across a Christian post on Ely’s story. She replied to it, not realizing that single message would change everything.
