One of our favorite views to visit! Dramatic 200-foot cliffs with a winding staircase down to a secluded beach.

North Lighthouse

Gorgeous spot for sunset. You can also walk down the beach towards the tip of the island.

Frederick J. Benson Town Beach

The island’s most popular beach — easy access, bathrooms, chair/umbrella rentals, and gentle waves. Great for families or a lazy beach day.

Mansion Beach

More secluded than Town Beach, with great waves and fewer crowds

Southeast Lighthouse

Historic lighthouse perched atop the Mohegan Bluffs. Great views, local history, and a scenic spot to explore.

Water Street

Water Street, New Shoreham, RI 02807

Just steps from the ferry, Water Street is Block Island’s main shopping strip. Here you can explore cute boutiques, island souvenirs, beachwear, and local art—all within a short walk.
