We've listed (on this site) a number of places to stay but there are many more via VRBO and AirB&B. Staying in Glen Arbor would allow you to walk back from the reception (you'll need to drive to the church, however) and with beaches, shops and restaurants all within walking distance, it would make for a wonderful weekend.
Uber and Lyft are not reliable in the Glen Arbor area and may not be available for those flying into Traverse City's Cherry Capital Airport (TVC)
Yes, it may be chilly so have an extra layer! While there is an indoor area, our cocktail hour at Glen Arbor Wines will be outdoor, which is simply delightful when you're dressed for it. For those who are able, walking through Glen Arbor to go from cocktail hour to the reception is a great option.
Church parking is plentiful. After the ceremony consider parking at the Glen Arbor Township Hall and walking to Glen Arbor Wines for cocktail hour (parking is limited there). If needed, cars can be left at the Township Hall until Sunday morning at 10am.
