Dubrovnik is in fact a small village and easily walkable. The old town is not accessible by car and is like stepping into the past of a walled medieval city. We do not have any specific tours scheduled but you can easily find companies that offer one or multiple types of guided walking tours: Ancient City Walls Game of Thrones Tour Dubrovnik Food & Drink Walking Tour
Dubrovnik is not necessarily known for its sandy beaches, BUT it has plenty of awesome places to go swimming. Below you will find just a few we recommend and we encourage you to check them all out. You can find us chilling on any of these beaches during our stay and if you want to join us download WhatsApp to get updates on where we will be via our Wedding Channel.
This hidden beach is about 5 minutes west of Old Town. It is one of the oldest beaches in Dubrovnik and is very popular with locals. The beach has several large rocks and jetties for sunbathers and ladders for climbing in and out of the sea.
Buza and Buza II are cliff bars which are hidden under the ancient city walls of the Dubrovnik Old Town. Buza is the perfect spot to enjoy a cold afternoon drink or a sundowner while enjoying the incredible views. Cold drinks, cliff jumping and epic ocean views make the cliff bars a Dubrovnik hidden gem and a must do in the Old Town!
Banje Beach is the most popular beach in Dubrovnik. Located just outside the eastern Ploce Gate, the beach is easily accessible from the Old Town via a 5 minute walk. The posh Banje Beach Club offers an upscale beach experience with cushy loungers, bamboo beds, on-site massages and classic summer cocktails. The restaurant serves beach food – lunch and dinner with a focus on seafood and local cuisine – while the DJ serves up the beats all day long.
Tucked into a deep cove near the Old Town Pile Gate, Sulic Beach is a real gem. Swimmers can enter the water from the beach or via the paved path along the edge of the water below the cliff. There are two beach bars at Sulic – Ala Mizerija and Dodo Beach Bar Dubrovnik – where beach-goers can grab a bite to eat or sip on a cold drink. Kayaks can also be rented here to explore the many coves and inlets of Dubrovnik
