Northern Lights Estate Winery
Be sure to visit the winery, nestled along the Fraser River. This spot is extra special to Cory and Jynessa—it’s where they had their very first date… and where Cory popped the question!
West Lake Provincial Park
Just 15 minutes down the road from the venue is a nice public beach. On the Bride and Grooms last trip home, they took a lovely summer bike ride out there (see pictured)—it’s a good spot for a picnic, some crafting, or even a paddleboard.
McMillan Creek Regional Park
A quick and easy forest walk takes you to a lookout with a gorgeous view of the city and cutbanks.
Cottonwood Island Nature Park
Take a nice, easy walk along the Fraser River! Lots of scenic paths and nature to explore.
Trench Brewing & Distilling
One of the couples favourite date spots to grab a beer (and share a tray of nachos)! They also serve a lovely brunch on the weekends.
Nancy O's
A local gastropub with always delicious food and live music on occasion. Check out their Instagram or website for showtimes—definitely a go-to date spot!
Active Body Nutrition
A second home to Jynessa, and the couples favorite spot to grab a ‘shake’—at the best bar in town. If you’re looking for a healthy snack, they have everything you need, plus the vibes!
Park Drive-In Theatre
The Park Drive-In Theatre is one of the last remaining drive-ins in British Columbia, and it makes for a super cozy night out — it’s also one of the Bride and Grooms most memorable date spots! Check out their website for showtimes. The park also offers go-karting, mini golf, and axe throwing — perfect for a full day of fun if you plan to be in town a few extra days!
