Hotel
There are plenty of great places to stay in Williamsburg, from major hotel chains and resorts to colonial inns, bed-and-breakfasts, and local rentals. Most are within a 15-minute drive of the Historic Area (ceremony and reception venue). Some lodging options also exist within walking distance of the Historic Area, but these are likely to have much lower availability (and higher pricing). Since Memorial Day is a popular time to visit, we highly recommend booking early, as accommodations tend to fill up quickly and prices increase closer to the holiday weekend. If you would like assistance coordinating shared lodging, let us know and we would be happy to connect you with other guests.
Rental Car
Although most of Williamsburg is accessible via WATA bus line, Uber/Lyft is not readily available, so it is recommended to have a personal taxi service or vehicle for convenience. If you would like assistance arranging a carpool for weekend's activities, let us know and we would be happy to connect you with other guests.
