Meredith is Sarah's oldest friend, having grown up together since preschool. Fifth grade was their most creative year of friendship, as they often wrote and acted out their own plays, and started their own country - SarreMerrica. Best Man
Before Samay donned a white coat in hospitals around southeastern Pennsylvania, he and Tommy were college roommates. While it was typically the cleanest apartment in all of Richmond, Virginia, their carpet was never the same after the dozens of parties hosted there -- but their friendship will never fade.
Groomsman
The only person who could win an argument with Tommy while in college, Neil taught him the finer points of debate -- and the best West Coast methods for procrastination. Now a doctor in the Midwest, Neil still tries (and fails) to educate Tommy on fine dining.
Groomsman
Tommy and Ryan, a fellow journalist, formed their friendship in college while pretending to run a media company. In reality, as student journalists, they toiled away at the unrewarding task of convincing 19-year-old writers and photographers to forgo nights spent partying and instead take video at field hockey games -- and Ryan laid the foundation for his future as a writer for the top newspaper in Virginia.
Groomsman
Tommy and Kevin became friends in middle school, sparking countless ski trips and video game parties. Kevin has been a running coach, chauffeur (at times) and the perfect party host.
Groomsman
If a book were to be written about this college friend group, Ash would be Tommy’s foil. An expert in psychology, he taught him a lot about processing emotions, and his made-for-TV smile is a gold standard which Tommy will never match.
Groomswoman
Emily quickly became one of the boys in their college friend group, proving her prowess in both partying and communication studies, where she dragged Tommy through many advertising classes on her way to becoming one of the sharpest marketing minds in Virginia.
