The dress code is semi-formal, you don’t need a black tie suit or super fancy dress, but something put together:) But please no shorts or t-shirts, as it will be October and possibly cold. Think dress pants or khakis, button shirts, and a tie, if you’re feeling fancy.
We’re starting the ceremony at 1pm so come early enough to park and walk over and take your seats
The ceremony will take place outside the barn, assuming it doesn’t rain, and the reception will be in the barn. Let’s all pray for good weather
This is a good question; park along the road that takes you to the barn. PLEASE, if you are of good health and not disabled, try not to park too close - priority up front if you get what I’m putting down.
As of now, the alcohol plan is we will provide wine for toasts. If you want to bring drinks BYOB style please reach out to me (Justus) to get approval. We’re going to have someone in charge of all the ethanol activities :D
That’s a great question! If there is a need for this, then we will of course try and figure that out. As of now (5/1/23), there is no virtual plan - but we can probably Zoom/video chat someone in or maybe stream the ceremony on FB live? Just reach out to one of us and we can try and figure something out :)
Yes, of course! There will be a gift table; you can also buy something on the registry. Another option is helping us broke college students pay for/organize the wedding. Please feel free to reach out if you have something helpful that can always be a gift. Whatever your means are most appreciated :)
Probably by sundown, hopefully because we like that night time + Christmas lights aesthetic o.o
