We recommend flying into Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR), also called Puerto Vallarta International Airport. If you’re coming from the Midwest or East Coast, you’ll likely have a layover somewhere in Texas, Arizona, or Colorado. Guests flying from the West Coast can usually find direct flights.

Travel Note

Shuttle or Taxi from PVR to The W Punta Mita

The simplest way to get to The W is by taxi or shuttle, similar to getting around in Cabo for those who have been. You can pre-book online or grab a ride at the airport—both options are reliable. Uber is also now available and will likely be the cheapest. When you walk out of the Arrivals hall, go a few steps to your left and you will see a pedestrian bridge. You will need to walk up the ramp, cross it, walk down the ramp and catch your uber there.
