The Tulsa Blue Dome District is known today as a night life destination, with heavy art and music influences. You’ll find many art murals on the buildings so keep an eye out! The district is filled with bars and restaurants, surrounded by many other down town destinations. The famous Blue Dome Building is located at the corner of 2nd and Elgin Street in Downtown Tulsa. The iconic Blue Dome Building was built in 1924 and is the heart of the district. The circular two story building has a unique art deco architecture style, completed by its famous blue roof. It initially was built as a gas station called White Star Service Station, complete with nine gas pumps and a sleeping quarters for the station attendants. The gas station was apart of the original Route 66 and was rather prosperous due to the flow of traffic and customers the route provided. However, after the route was moved down to 11th street, the gas station lost its primary source of income and closed its doors in 1953.

ONEOK Field is a baseball park in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Located in the historic Greenwood district adjacent to downtown Tulsa, it is the home of the Tulsa Drillers of the AA Texas League. The stadium is named for ONEOK, a natural gas utility.

The Golden Driller is a 76-foot, 22-ton statue of an oil worker in Tulsa, located outside the Tulsa Expo Center. It is the 6th tallest statue in the United States. The plaque at the base reads "The Golden Driller, a symbol of the International Petroleum Exposition. Dedicated to the men of the petroleum industry who by their vision and daring have created from God’s abundance a better life for mankind."

The Blue Whale of Catoosa is a waterfront structure, just east of the American town of Catoosa, Oklahoma, and it has become one of the most recognizable attractions on old Route 66. Built in the early 1970s by Huge Davis as an anniversary gift, the 20-foot tall iron and cement Blue Whale turned into a swimming park, and closed in 1988.

Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area is a 300-acre area of undeveloped land that stretches from I-44 to 71st Street in Tulsa in the US state of Oklahoma. It is managed by the Tulsa River Parks Authority and open to the public. The main entrance to the wilderness area is at 67th Street and Elwood Avenue in West Tulsa. It is dog friendly, family friendly, and a free, outdoor space to enjoy some Tulsa nature.
The Tulsa Zoo is an 85-acre non-profit zoo located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. The Tulsa Zoo is owned by the City of Tulsa, but since 2010 has been privately managed by Tulsa Zoo Management, Inc. Philbrook Museum of Art is an art museum with expansive formal gardens. The museum is located in a former 1920s villa, "Villa Philbrook," the home of Oklahoma oil pioneer Waite Phillips and his wife Genevieve.
