Justine's dad found this place years ago and it has since become a must-visit restaurant anytime we are in New Orleans. This is a no-frills seafood market, but a one-stop-shop for boiled crawfish, crabs, po boys, gumbo, boudin, meat pies, and more! P.S. Cajun's has the BEST boiled crawfish in the city. Don't buy any in the French Quarter because it will be overpriced.
Named after Justine's amazing grandmother (not really, lol), this New Orleans landmark serves some of the best fried chicken you'll ever taste. Be sure to get there early because the restaurant fills up quickly and the wait outside can be long.
The World Famous Cafe du Monde! Get your beignets and coffee here. It's also along the riverfront and near the French Market, so take a stroll after you eat. Pro tip: Get there early in the morning or go later in the evening to avoid long lines and large crowds; it's first come, first served.
