Getting to Crescent City

Recommended Route: The easiest way to reach Crescent City is to fly into Medford, Oregon (Rogue Valley International Medford Airport) and rent a car from there. The drive from Medford to Crescent City is approximately 2.5 hours. Extended Road Trip Route: (This is our favorite kind of detour, but completely optional!) San Francisco and Portland are both approximately a 5.5 to 6 hour drive from Crescent City if you would like to extend your trip with a weekend getaway or additional stops along the way. Both routes offer beautiful drives with plenty of scenic viewpoints, small towns, and opportunities for adventure.

We recommend booking a rental car through Costco Travel if you have access to it. It is a great option with free cancellation, no payment until pick up, and often includes a second driver at no extra cost. Medford Airport is the best pickup location for reaching Crescent City.
