How much do we love this place? It's the only place we could think of going the night we got engaged! Amazing Thai food, great cocktails, great service, cute little place. Our favorites: Sukhothai - with rice noodle, Pad See Ew, Lychee Cocktail, any of the drinks made with Thai Rum.

Gantry Plaza State Park

One of the best views of Manhattan from anywhere, close to our apartment, and nice places to walk, sit, and relax.

The Sparrow Tavern

Great food, cocktails made from scratch (to the level of growing their own peaches for the simple syrups!), reasonable price, and cute and cozy atmosphere. Be sure to try the truffle oil tater tots!

New York Botanical Garden

This botanical garden is worth the trek to the Bronx to see! The enormous green-house is warm all year round so it's a great escape from November weather too! There are tram rides around the entire garden grounds but wear your walking shoes anyway, this place is HUGE!
