Santa Barbara Airport

This is the closest airport to Ventura. You get an excuse to make a Santa Barbara trip and enjoy either renting a car and travelling south on the iconic Pacific Coast Highway or a train ride on the surfeliner getting into our small beach town Ventura

Burbank Airport

Another option but an hour outside of town (and much less headache than LAX) is to fly into Bob Hope Burbank airport. Unfortunately, not much public transportation from Burbank airport getting to Ventura. You will need to hitch a ride either from a car rental or someone with wheels.

Four Points by Sheraton Ventura Harbor Resort

Value: $$$ Location: Bomb This is closest to the reception area near Olivas Adobe. It is also walking distance from the Ventura Harbor. Go enjoy the next day with the pacific breeze in your face while you munch on a delectable fishzookie from Coastal Cone. Or enjoy some overly greasy fish and chips from Andria's. Maybe just watch the ships roll in' - Otis Redding

Value: $$$ Location: Bomb Same as Four Points Sheraton but apparently the staff can speak in Tagalog

Crowne Plaza Ventura Beach, an IHG Hotel

Value: $$$ Location: Not close to reception but close to C-ST. if you wanna surf and get an epic view and close to DT VTA Amenities: Apparently they have a jazz band in the lounge

La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Ventura

Value: $$ Location: Very close to reception, close to Salazar Records if you shop vinyls. Very close to Boulderdash rock climbing gym if you want a climb in before the reception LOL. Amenities: I actually stayed here before but the walkways on different levels are slightly slanted lol I dont know what else to say.

Zachari Dunes on Mandalay Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton

Value: Expensive for my taste -JB Location: Not close to reception but nice sandy beaches and nice pool. Nice hotel really. Do you surf (but if you actually know how to surf), then give the Strand a nice paddle out and watch out for locals (they will mess with your car).
