Ventura Pier
ACTIVITY: DRINKING, EATING, SURFING, BIKING, BEACHING, 420 sunsets There is MadeWest Brewery on the pier, I shit you not. Go enjoy a beer while avoiding the Santa Anas. Heck, bored of that? Go rent those weird pedal carts and try to pedal up to Ojai if your heart desires. You can also try to rent a board (or bring your own surfboard) and surf C Street HMU tho, I'll paddle out with you. When you are parched from the sun, the exercise, or arms turned to noodles from surfing too much then grab some tacos at Beach House tacos. Thania enjoys the elote fries and their iconic Churro Donuts! Check out the "view" button below for more amazing recommendations!
Main Street
ACTIVITIES: WINDOW SHOPPING, WALKING, PEOPLE WATCHING, HISTORY MUSEUM/MISSION, NICE FOOD, NICE DRINKS, AND CHEAP DRINKS. Make sure you check out Justin's favorite Pizza spot - Fluid State. They have an amazing selection of beers on tap, HUGE slices and whole pizzas, and Thania's favorite appetizer - their AvoHummus with pita bread. Right across the street from Fluid State is Justin's favorite bar - VenTiki. Don't be too embarrassed when the servers yell loud enough for all to hear what tropical drink you ordered! They have strong drinks and great food so you don't get too wasted. Other notable spots - Immigrant Son (GREAT brunch spot), Sans Souci (for those who love dive-bars and live punk bands), Bank of Italy Cocktail Trust (be sure to grab their LOTR themed cocktails), Rocks and Drams (also great cocktails but mostly known for playing R&B throwbacks - Thania's jams!)

Santa Barbara
ACTIVITIES: WINE DRINKING, MORE FOOD OPTIONS, NICER WEATHER, CELEBRITY SIGHTINGS, RICH PEOPLE SIGHTINGS Drive 30 minutes north and enjoy a nice coastal road trip. Enjoy SB weather, downtown, pier, and what rich taxpayer's money can do to make a beautiful town. If you're driving around, make sure you grab some amazing Argentinian empanadas from Buena Onda (724 East Haley Street, Santa Barbara CA). You can also check out our wine club - Deep Sea Wine Tasting Room. This location is breathtaking as it sits well into the pier, directly over the ocean with a beautiful view of Santa Barbara and the hills.
Waterfront at Ventura Harbor Village
The Harbor is just down the street from our reception venue! There are so many food options, including one of our favorite taco spots (Baja Bay Surf n'Taco). If you're looking for a nice glass of wine with a view of the harbor and boats, make sure you check out Deep Sea Wine Tasting Room (our first wine membership!) They have chocolate pairings with your wine, or cheeseboards and other snacks. For dessert, make sure you grab our favorite Ube Fishzookies at the Coastal Cone! They have fish shaped ice cream cones that come in all kinds of flavors. You can also just buy the fish-shaped cake stuffed with Nutella - just as delicious if it's too cold for ice cream. Finally, don't forget to catch a beautiful sunset at the beach across from the Harbor where you'll see the sun disappear behind the Channel Islands.
