What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be in a catholic church. Church attire or semi-formal is required. The reception has a natural/rustic theme and is indoor/outdoor. There is no attire requirements however dressing the theme would be wonderful to see! (The venue has some gravel and grassy spots on the premise; keep this in mind when choosing footwear).

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In DFW, October can be hit-or-miss. It can be sunny and hot, rainy and cold, or anywhere in-between. Keep a close eye on the weather as the big day approaches. (If you are traveling from out-of-state, consider packing a variety of clothes and an umbrella for your comfort).

Are there hotel/travel accommodations?

Answer

Everyone will be responsible for making their own bookings for hotels, flights, rental cars, etc. The ceremony will be in Allen, TX and the reception is in McKinney, TX. It would be ideal to make reservations in those areas or neighboring towns. (See our "Travel" tab at the top of this website page for some recommended hotels and airports in the area).

Are plus ones and kids allowed?

Answer

We have accounted for plus ones for the majority of guests who may want to bring one. Although we like kids, we are not allowing extended invites to kids with a few exceptions. If you have further questions about this, please contact the bride or groom by the RSVP date.
