What is the name and address of the wedding venue?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Barn at Timber Creek 525 Holman Mill Rd, Farmville VA 23233. Google maps may show that the venue it is "permanently closed", but it is not.

Will there be transportation from the hotel to the wedding venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, we were unable to arrange for transportation to and from the venue. Please drink responsibly or plan to have a designated driver. There is ample parking at the venue. You are welcome to leave your car overnight at the venue if you end up getting a ride back to the hotel with someone else. The venue asks that any cars left overnight are picked up by 10AM on Sunday.

Yes, there is a gravel parking lot adjacent to the ceremony and reception venue.

Will there be a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We kindly request that you wear semi-formal or cocktail attire for our special day. Our wedding will be a spring garden theme so pastels, florals, and spring colors are all welcome. Please note - our venue is an indoor/outdoor concept where there will be both gravel & grassy areas. Keep this in mind when making your shoe selections for the event.

We politely request no children attend the ceremony and reception. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. Please bring only the individuals that were included on the RSVP page of our wedding website when you search for your name. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We negotiated a discounted group rate at a few hotels in town. Please see the accommodations page of our website.

What should I wear to the rehearsal dinner if I was invited?

Answer

We ask that you arrive in dressy casual/Sunday best attire. (E.g. Khakis and button up or polo for men. Sundress, another informal dress, skirt/blouse, or blouse/pant combo for women. )
