Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. As many of our family and friends know, monetary wedding gifts are a long-standing tradition in Vietnamese culture and are often presented in red envelopes as a way to celebrate, bless, and support the newlyweds as they begin their next chapter together. We wanted to share this meaningful custom with those who may be unfamiliar with it.
During the wedding reception, we will make our way around to each table to personally greet and thank our guests, which is traditionally when red envelopes are gifted to the couple. Above all, your presence and support on our special day mean the world to us, and we are simply grateful to celebrate alongside the people we love most.
