When should I RSVP by?

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered with a Honeymoon Fund website called Traveler's Joy. You can find the information under the "Registry" tab on our website.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:00pm as the ceremony starts at 3:30pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, please dress semi-formal, as you would for a special event.

Does your wedding have a theme?

Answer

The Bridal Party will be dressed in "vintage inspired" outfits. You are welcome to come dressed according to your favorite interpretation of "vintage," but this is not an official theme and is of course optional.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. If your invite includes a plus one, then you are welcome to bring a date. If your invite does not include a plus one, we would ask that you follow your invite and come solo. We appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Only a few special kiddos close to the bride and groom are asked to come. If your invite includes your kiddo's name, then they are welcome. Otherwise, please make other arrangements so you can have the best time celebrating with us!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please let the bride and groom know ahead of time so we can accommodate you, if possible.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at the same building. There is a parking lot across the street from the venue that allows free public parking. There is also a parking lot behind the venue reserved for our special day, as well as free street parking.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Shuttles to/from Holiday Inn Express: Run 1 2:50 (Arrive at 3:00) Run 2 3:10 (Arrive at 3:20) Run 3 8:45 (Leave venue) Run 4 10:45 (Leave venue) Shuttles from venue to Best Western: * 8:30pm-10:45pm *Since this hotel is only a few blocks from the venue, we do not have any shuttles set up to bring guests to the venue for the ceremony.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Early September in Minnesota is usually hot: 70s-90s. There could be rain as well, but hopefully not!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be indoors. However, there are a few outdoor spaces to enjoy at our venue.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we will have a receiving line to greet all our guests. Our Day of Coordinator will help you get to the right location within the venue. Then, the couple will be taking photos for an hour around the venue. While we're doing this, guests can enjoy our Cocktail/Social Hour where light snacks and drinks will be served.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no," so we can plan accordingly.

Is the wedding venue location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, there is a lift that folks can use if needed. Please let the bride and groom know ahead of time so we can alert the venue.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels. We ask that you tag the photos with our names and/or use our Wedding Hashtag: #PinottiPartyofTwo . We also ask that you refrain from taking pictures or using your phone during the ceremony itself and let our amazing photographer work her magic!

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will be serving an Italian buffet dinner (full sit down meal) and gelato for dessert. There will also be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available. We will be hosting beer and wine up to a certain amount. If you would like to purchase cocktails or additional drinks outside of what we are hosting, please bring cash and/or credit cards. The venue is attached to a local bar The Alchemist that offers specialty cocktails. The Alchemist will be open to the public as well as our wedding guests. There is another bar at the back of the venue as well that will be restricted to our wedding guests only.
