We met online using the OKCupid app. This was back before Tinder. Recently someone asked us if OkCupid was a new app - no, it's actually one of the older ones that people don't even use anymore! Our first date started in Dinkytown, Minneapolis, and ended up at the Stone Arch Bridge for a concert. We wound up holding hands as we walked back from the concert. We've gone through so much in the almost 9 years we've been together. We've gone through countless jobs, 2 degrees (for Lydia) bought a house, went on several international trips, adopted our sassy, beautiful Great Pyrenees Nevada, adopted our first kitty Ozzie, and then our current kitties Sam and Dean. Eight years after we first met almost to the day, Justin proposed in Egypt, in front of the Pyramids at Giza. It was truly spectacular, romantic, and unforgettable. We are so ready to start this next chapter of our lives as a married couple.
