We are going to American Ice Co, not the other place!!

Eleven years ago, Kate was meeting a friend for a nerdy happy hour (read: Star Trek screening) at one of her favorite bars in DC, Black Cat. While sitting in the bar in the Red Room, she struck up a conversation with the bar back, Justin. They started texting and a few months later, they had their first date - margaritas at El Chucho in Columbia Heights. On this snowy January night where Kate had an awful cough that Justin kept triggering every time he made her laugh. Since then, they’ve been building a lovely little life together going to shows, traveling, and spending time with their two dogs (Denver and Arlo.) After all this time they figure it’s time to make this thing official right where it all started - at Black Cat.
