My childhood bestie, my hermana, my confidant. Our friendship began in the 3rd grade after a Halloween party. Since then, we have seen each other at our worst, our best, and everything in between. Justin knows that Christen is my person. I knew she was my person when Ms. Sharon threatened to get us both after I convinced Christen to jump in the pool and mess up her hair (she had JUST got it done). She's the epitome of "ride or die."

Growing up with an older sister meant I had two mothers. Even though she constantly told me I was adopted (we're literally mom's spitting images), and wished I was a boy (so she could be the only daughter), I could not imagine a better older sis than Vero. She's given me three awesome nephews and a beautiful niece (who's too much like me for Vero's own good). She has stood by my side many times, but I think this time will be my favorite.

I first met Jennifer when Robert brought her to meet the family 16 years ago. I was unsure of why he was giving her all of his attention instead of me. Was I chopped liver??? YES. I WAS. He had found his perfect match and I did NOT make it easy for him to "split" his time between us (I was Robert's girl growing up). He found the perfect addition to our family, and I am so glad she's my sis. She's helped raise me to be the woman I am today and I cannot thank her enough for that.

My dad will always know her as "Lady Gaga" (throwback to the iconic Halloween costume). What started off as an awkward middle school friendship blossomed into "THE trio." Grace is one of the most genuine people I know, and I am thankful to have her by my side.

Mak and I served as Area FFA Officers at the same time, then later served on the same state FFA officer team together. She has been my go-to since then. My most favorite memories of Mak include delirious episodes and lots of laughs.

I remember being nervous to meet him and I also remember Jaky’s assurances of not having to worry, and that he’s the “chill one” of the bunch; she couldn’t have been more right. Robert brings a serene demeanor with a dash of goofy to keep you on your toes.

Avery was a part of Jaky’s Team 10 (whatever the heck that meant), so I inherited his friendship immediately. My favorite quality about him is his ability to make sure every one is heard and involved in conversations no matter the size of the group.

Within the five years I’ve known Brandon, he’s taught me two things: 1. You can close the bars down in Athens, GA at 10:00pm 2. Some of the most heartfelt conversations can be had during a session of companionable silence in the early mornings at the beach.
