The Wedding Website of Justin Wiley and Ilianushka Sadie Parish
This Page will inform you about Flights, Shuttles, and Hotels. Your destination will be Antigua, Guatemala.

Flight

La Aurora, Guatemala

You’ll be flying into La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City, a small but busy airport located in the heart of the capital. As your plane descends, be sure to look out the window, on clear days, you’ll catch breathtaking views of volcanoes piercing through the clouds, a stunning welcome to Guatemala. The airport is located in Zone 13, which may not be the most scenic part of the city, but don't worry, just one zone over, in Zones 10, 12, and 14, you’ll find beautiful architecture, modern cafés, and secure neighborhoods with active police patrols. These zones are great spots to grab a snack or stretch your legs after you've picked up a rental car or traveling with your shuttle. From there, you’ll head west toward Antigua Guatemala, a charming colonial town surrounded by mountains and volcanoes. The drive typically takes about 45 minutes without traffic, but during peak hours it can stretch to up to 2 hours, so plan accordingly and enjoy the scenery (and maybe a snack) along the way!

Rental Car

Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Ciudad de, 9 Avenida 14-75, Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala 00031, Guatemala
 +502 2217 2100

This rental car company is one of many located at La Aurora International Airport. You’ll find the rental agencies on the top level of the airport parking structure, just follow the signs after exiting baggage claim. Staff members speak English, and credit cards are the only accepted form of payment. Once you’re on the road, be extra cautious with motorcycles. In Guatemala City, there are often five motorcycles for every car, and many riders do not follow traffic laws, weaving unpredictably through lanes. Stay alert, drive defensively, and take your time adjusting to the flow of traffic.
