Bridesmaid
Heather met Alexandria on the first day of freshman year at Georgetown when Alex walked into Heather's dorm room and complimented her on her Les Miserables poster. They quickly became fast friends and had tons of great times as roommates, whether in a sweet Village A rooftop unit or a tiny basement apartment off of M street. There's no one Heather would rather spend a full year sleeping in a tiny room with full size beds positioned just 3 feet apart (basically a year-long sleepover if you think about it!) and she is so excited to have Alex by her side as a bridesmaid.
Best Man
Jordon and Justin are identical twins and have known each other for a good amount of time. You can still tell they are brothers, but the resemblance has faded a bit with age. They have been best friends for their entire lives even amidst the war of two closets.(Who got the room with two closets) Justin got the one with two windows...which is just as good apparently. Still bitter. Jordon and Justin both work from home and enjoy tinkering with electronics and other DIY hobbies.
Bridesmaid
Bryelle and Heather first met at Spring Lake Community House in middle school, where they acted in countless musicals along with the critically acclaimed indie television series "Bullet the Blue" (available on vimeo). They enjoyed many girls nights fueled by raw cookie dough, candy and Cosmopolitan and once Heather was even lucky enough to participate in an episode of "Baking with Bryelle". Bryelle brings her incredibly warm and bubbly personality wherever she goes and makes every room brighter. She was present at Heather's sweet 16 at the Spring Lake Golf Club 100 years ago, and fingers crossed will be bringing back the same dance moves at the wedding reception this May!
Groomsman
Roy and Justin are brothers and have know each other since Justin was born. There are mythical photos of Roy holding Justin as a baby. Roy and Justin both inherited their love of real estate from their father. Both enjoy video games and football. Roy is a 49ers fan, but we still allow him to visit for Christmas.(every other year of course)
Bridesmaid
Jennifer and Heather met during their first day of freshman year at Georgetown and were lucky enough to be floormates freshman year. Jane's Domain 4ever! They've enjoyed both types of all nighters- the nights spent up as roommates cramming for a physics or biochemistry exam with a bowl of the house chocolate on the table as fuel, and the nights dancing to salsa music at El Centro (Jen always persuading Heather to stay out just a fewww hours longer). They were members of their college hip hop group Flip Dis Funk Dat and still remember the choreography. Jen's outgoing and friendly personality combined with her love of dance and red wine has always made her one of the most fun people in any room, and Heather can't wait to have her by her side both on the alter and on the dance floor.
Groomsman
Baltimore native Connor (aka "Bruce's Dad") and his wonderful fiancee Alyssa have shared many amazing times with the bride and groom over the past 3 years. From beach days in Sea Girt, to roaming the streets of Manayunk, to hosting the couple down in Baltimore and introducing them to Patterson Park, crab cakes, and most importantly Orange Crush, Connor is always filled with energy and enthusiasm and always has the best recommendations for food, drink and activities no matter what city he is in. At most family holidays he and the groom can be found taking Bruce and Bo for long walks outside while solving the world's problems. Connor is an incredibly warm and fun-loving person who brings life into every room he's in, and we could not be more excited to have him in our bridal party!
Bridesmaid
Rosemary and Heather met during their freshman year at Georgetown when Rosemary became an honorary member of the freshman floor. Her outgoing and fun-loving personality combined with a deep and abiding love of all things Georgetown (and particularly the Tombs) meant that Rosemary was by far one of the most fun people to journey through college and post-graduate life with. She moved to Philly before Heather did and once let Heather sleep on her futon for a month straight during an away rotation at Temple and brought her ice cream on the nights when she got home late. Rosemary is one of the warmest and most caring people the bride has ever met and she could not be more excited to have her by her side on the wedding day!
Groomsman
Brandon was the first of Heather's family members to meet Justin when he came to visit them and grabbed Pizza Dads one day in Philadelphia, and was thus the first Flynn to officially approve of the relationship (you're welcome, everyone). Since that day he and the groom have had many fun times with Brandon, his awesome girlfriend Katie, and their adorable fluffy corgi Thor being frequent guests of 290 Delmar and even coming out to help the groom ring in his 30th birthday. Besides being an amazing confidant, a philosopher and a gentleman, Brandon is an incredible piano player and has the gift of golden pipes, and if we're lucky we may get to hear a song at some point during the big day!
Bridesmaid
Summer and Heather met in elementary school when they were both enrolled in theater and dance classes at Spring Lake Community House. Heather quickly learned that Summer's personality absolutely matches her name- she is one of the brightest, friendliest and warmest people you'll ever meet. They bonded over an obsession with the Jonas Brothers and love of Broadway tunes, and were briefly members of a four-person band in which they wrote the one-hit wonder, "The Long Road Behind" (shout out to Scrooge Talent Show 2012). From girls night sleepovers to beach days to filming YouTube videos in Summer's basement, they have had so many shared memories over years and Heather is so excited to have Summer standing on stage (ahem.. the alter) besides her again this upcoming May!
Groomsman
World's best dog uncle, MMA fighter, guitarist extraordinaire - Aidan "Sneaky Fox" Flynn is a man of many hats. Aidan brought Justin to watch his first live MMA fight in Philadelphia, and is also the reason Justin always turns to Heather and says "I should really start taking lessons" every time they drive past a Tae Kwon Do gym. He is incredible with animals - he once watched Hippo and Cleo for a year while Heather was finishing med school, and she is convinced they would run away to live with Aidan if they could. From his own 21st birthday party to Justin's 30th to many other eventful evenings in between, Aidan always brings a huge smile and his heart of gold with him wherever he goes, and the bride and groom could not be more excited to have him standing on the alter with them!
Bridesmaid
Heather has Connor to thank for introducing her to Alyssa, his fantastic fiancée and dog mom to Bruce. Over the past few years they have gotten to spend many fun times together on holidays and trips to Sea Girt, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. They share a love of wine and crab cakes, and the greatest gift Alyssa has given Heather to date is her introduction to Orange Crushes. Alyssa is an incredibly warm and fun-loving person and Heather could not be more excited to be (finally) gaining an amazing new sister when Connor and Alyssa get married in June!
Bridesmaid
Heather first heard about Katie Gill on a very cute catch-up phone call during her freshman year of college, when she was talking to Brandon and he mentioned that he had a crush on a girl in his class and was going to ask her out. Over the next ten years Heather has gotten to know Katie as a kind, energetic, and intelligent young woman as well as mom to the cutest corgi on the planet, Thor. Justin and Heather have loved hosting Brandon and Katie in Philly on many occasions and have gotten to explore Red Bank and Asbury thanks to them as well. They look forward to many more fun excursions in the future and Heather is so excited to have Katie standing with her on the wedding day!
