Buc-ee's
Colorado's first Buc-ee's! If you are traveling from Denver, you will drive right to it just take Exit 252 in Johnstown and see why there's so much hype about this gas station!
Lake Agnes Trailhead
Looking for a moderately challenging hike and want to walk on a trail that Courie helped restore!? This 2.3-mile loop trail is located about 45 miles (1 hour 20 min drive) from Beaver Meadows. Generally, it takes an average of 1 h 7 min to complete and is a popular area for fishing and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. Fun fact: the last time Courie was on this trail was a week before she would meet Justin in person!
Rocky Mountain National Park
Here you can explore the "highway to the sky" - a 48-mile paved road that is the highest continuous road in North America, reaching an elevation of 12,183 feet. This National Park is home to many herds of elk so this is a great place to get your wildlife fix! PS - Remember to drink your water, elevation sickness is no joke!
Summer Tubing at Snow Mountain Ranch
If you are planning on extending your stay in Colorado and headed west to explore more - this is a fun event for all to explore. This activity is a 3 - 3.5 hour drive from the wedding venue but will grant you some quintessential views of our beautiful state!

If you can plan for a little extra time in Denver we highly recommend scooping up a lunch or dinner reservation at the world famous Casa Bonita - you won’t regret it! Reservations are open for the week of the wedding now 🤗
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
Another pit stop to consider if you have extra time during your travels! While you may not be able to catch a show at this infamous venue in Golden, you can still experience the amazing structure. There are short hiking trails around the area, or follow the instructions up to the North Parking lots and explore without hiking.
