May 28: Venue Update
A little wedding update! Our celebration has a beautiful new home! While we unexpectedly had to change venues during the planning process, it ended up being a blessing in disguise because we found a location that we love even more. The best part? Nothing changes for you! The wedding date, hotel plans, travel information, and all the details for our Puerto Vallarta weekend remain exactly the same. The only difference is the venue itself. We can't wait for everyone to experience this incredible place and celebrate with us. It's going to be such a special weekend!
Apr 19: What to Do ASAP
Please check that your passport will be valid for travel and won’t expire within 6 months of the wedding. If you need to apply or renew, it’s best to start early since processing times can vary. Passport info: travel.state.gov Additionally, our main wedding hotel, Villa Premiere, is nearly full for our dates since it’s a smaller boutique property during peak season. If you aren’t able to stay there, the other options detailed on our Travel page are also great choices: Buenaventura Grand and The Paramar. Both are next door to our events. You’re also welcome to stay anywhere in Puerto Vallarta (if staying elsewhere, you’ll just be responsible for transportation to events). Many hotels offer refundable rates until around 30 days before the trip, so we absolutely recommend booking early even if your plans change!
Mar 10: Travel & Safety Update
We know some guests may have questions about travel, and your safety is incredibly important to us. We would not be moving forward if we did not feel fully confident in Puerto Vallarta as a safe and welcoming destination. We are staying closely connected with our local coordinator and will continue to monitor things as we get closer. We also understand that everyone has different comfort levels when it comes to travel, and we would never want anyone to feel pressured. If you are considering joining us, we recommend booking refundable accommodations and considering travel protection for added flexibility.
