Travel Note
Traveling from San Jose
For Emily's family traveling from San Jose, we recommend driving. Both the 101-S and 5-S are 5-hour drives. Smaller airports in Oxnard and Burbank will only have smaller, more expensive flights, so we recommend flying into LAX. Camarillo is about an hour-and-a-half driving from LAX.
Travel Note
Traveling from New York City
To our friends traveling from NYC, all nearby airports (JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark), should have direct flights to LAX. From there, you should rent a car or carpool with friends to Camarillo. There are no convenient public transportation options between Amtrak, MetroLink, or buses.
