We ask that people fill out the RSVP form on our Paperless Post by May 1, 2026. We'll be following up with anyone who hasn't confirmed in the weeks ahead of the deadline.
We would love to have as many people as we can to celebrate our love and union. But due to strict limitations in our reception venue size, we cannot account for any plus-ones. Unfortunately only people directly invited to the wedding are able to attend. The physical and digital invitations that are sent out should list all invitees, including for families. If there are clarifying questions, please get in touch with us or one of our volunteer wedding-planners.
Our entire wedding will take place on August 15, 2026 in Camarillo, California. We will begin the day at noon with a Catholic ceremony at the Padre Serra Parish at 5205 Upland Rd, Camarillo. We'll share selected readings, prayers, and our vows as we take this step in life together. After the ceremony, which should last around an hour, we'll allow people to rest or have fun. Then we'll reconvene at 6 PM at Slate Bistro, 4850 Santa Rosa Rd, Camarillo. We'll wrap up around 10 PM after a night of toasts, good food, and memories.
Day of, Ms. Bui (mother of the bride) and Justin (the groom) will be very busy! Please reach out to Jane for any last-minute questions that come up.
Everyone will have a few hours to spend before the reception starts, so we wanted to make sure there are suggestions of what to do in-between! An option is always returning to your hotel or home to rest and get changed, but in case you have the energy, there are great options listed on both the "Visit Camarillo" (visitcamarillo.com) and "Visit Oxnard" (visitoxnard.com) websites. If you prefer shopping, there are options like the Camarillo Premium Outlets and the Collection at Oxnard. If you're more of an outdoorsy person or family, we recommend the Oxnard State Beach Park or Camarillo Grove Park, where there are some short trails.
Slate Bistro will be exclusively serving our party for the evening. Upon arriving, there will be a charcuterie board set with cheese, crackers, fruits, and other small eats. Our buffet will consist of Caesar salad, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and dinner rolls as sides. Prime rib and salmon will be our main entree options. Well drinks, specialty cocktails, beer and wine will all be offered to our guests over 21.
Our theme for the wedding is "summer garden." Here is a link to a Pinterest folder for inspiration: www.pinterest.com/emilyluong16/wedding/dress-code/. For our ceremony, our dress code will be semi-formal dress, appropriate for a church setting. Feel free to wear the same thing to our reception, or change if you prefer something more casual and comfortable.
Both the Padre Serra Parish and Slate Bistro will be entirely rented for our event, and both have parking lots. There should be ample free parking.
