Yauseaffe (Sea) & Justice’s story has multiple layers to its origin depending on who you ask. They attended Tennessee State University at the same time for about a year before Yauseaffe transferred to Austin Peay State University. He would see her for the first time and never forget her face. Justice will tell you her first memory of Sea would be when she went to the Riverfest in Clarksville, TN to meet Yauseaffe for the first time, but they never found each other that day. What truly brought them together would be a social media post at the beginning of the pandemic. On April 8 Yauseaffe decided to “shoot his shot” for the last time by asking Justice, “Do you like basketball? Because I’m shooting my shot”. As hard as Justice rolled her eyes and called his line “corny”, she was also guilty for loving a good dad pun, so she took him up on his offer. Yauseaffe and Justice would start to get to know each other over several phone and FaceTime calls until a first date was officially planned. Since the world was shut down, they both looked forward to a cute picnic date at Percy Warner park in Bellevue, TN. As lovely as the picnic was, Yauseaffe and Justice thrived on cupcakes, fruit, and wine because Yauseaffe forgot to order the sandwiches. And although there was no entrée, the date was unforgettable. From that day on, these two became inseparable. Yauseaffe knew he really liked her when he started to bring her around his friends. Justice knew she loved Yauseaffe when she realized how much of a good time they can have just co-existing in each other’s space. Since the world was shut down, all they could do was get to know each other and try new restaurants through DoorDash. In September of 2020 Yauseaffe asked Justice to be his girlfriend at Maggiano’s. He made sure they would have food this time. As the pandemic restrictions began to lift Yauseaffe & Justice spent time traveling, celebrating birthdays, holidays, and meeting each other’s family. They would also begin their entrepreneurship journeys and became each other’s cheerleader. Every year stood the test of time. Their family would begin growing in November of 2024 where they became dog parents to Rizzle Dizzle Hunt who has taught Sea & Justice how to be the best dog parents! Yauseaffe & Justice knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, but the big question was “when”? On March 29 Yauseaffe would pop the question in a private intimate moment at home.
