Will kids be allowed to attend the wedding?

Answer

As much as we love kids, this is an adults only event. Please feel free to contact Sam or Justin directly if you are worried you cannot attend the wedding due to finding childcare.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal please! Not quite black tie, but still dress to impress! Suits or sport coats & ties for men, and any length dresses are fine for women, gowns/floor length dresses are not required!

What do I do if I have a strict dietary requirement?

Please text the bride or groom when returning your RSVP card before the wedding so they can inform the chefs!

Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony runs directly into cocktail hour all at the same location.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 5, please be sure to be in your seats by 4:45 to assure there are no interruptions.

Where can I book a hotel?

Answer

The accommodations tab has a link to the hotel that we are staying at, as well as two other nearby hotels!

Is there transportation between the hotel and venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be a complimentary shuttle starting at 3:45 pm at the Courtyard Rye to bring guests to Whitby Castle until the start of the ceremony. The shuttle will return to Whitby Castle at 10 pm to start bringing guests back to the Courtyard Rye.
