The middle child of the Tennant brothers, and Kurt’s older brother. He has worn many hats over the years; reporter, slumlord, attorney, Florida Man, and older brother. He taught Kurt how to ride a bike, how to swim, and the joy of video games to name but a few things. If there’s ever a hare-brained scheme in the family, you know Brad is involved, and it will work like a charm.

Emily and Jenna met each other during COVID-19 and bonded over a mutual love for the band Starset. The two have been good friends ever since, despite a fifteen-hour drive between them. Their friendship has evolved beyond their shared love of music and now are apart of each other's lives as much as any other friends that are minutes away.

During Kurt's time in the jazz band, there was this really quiet guy who PJ had befriended. Kurt wound up getting close with the guy as well, and the two have been good friends ever since, even sharing an apartment for a while. Joel is a member of the group "The House Husbands," along with Kurt, PJ, and Higgins. The weekly gaming sessions keep the four in touch and involved in each other's day-to-day life.

Also known as Papaw, Tabetha and Jenna were college roommates and friends. The pair are silly together as everybody's grandparents. Tabetha is a big reason Jenna stayed sane through college.

Higgins and Kurt met through the jazz band and bonded over tours, swimming in a freezing Summersville lake, and wassail and D&D sessions. Though Higgins lives in Miami right now, he and Kurt are still close thanks to weekly gaming sessions and the House Husbands group chat.

Mallory and Jenna can't exactly remember how they met. They were friends of a friend, but became better acquainted in high school on the tennis team. After Jenna quit the team, they fell out of touch. Imagine, years later, the surprise when they see each other while attending Shepherd. They reconnected and made many memories together. Mallory is always down for anything and Jenna is always ready to call Mallory's boss and tell her that Papaw has had an accident and Mallory needs to come clean him up.

Another friendship dating back to the fall of 2015, Brent and Kurt first met in Calculus 2. After realizing they shared far more than a class and a major (a love of Star Wars, love of drumming, the Vikingfest 2014 dance party), the two became fast friends. After 8 years and the entire MCU, the two have been through quite a bit and remain all the closer for it.

Kurt was so excited to find out he was going to be an uncle. Ellie has brought much joy to his life, from playing Roblox with her to giving Uncle Kurt hugs. Even though she’s growing up, Kurt will always see her as a 5 year old at Chuck-ee Cheese.
