FAQs

If you have any questions about these, get ahold of Jenna. If you think you cannot get ahold of Jenna, if there is a will, there is a way. You'll get her eventually.
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Clothing, preferably. We ask for guests to wear cocktail attire: tea or knee length dresses, suit and tie or nice dress shirt and tie. No jeans, etc.

Question

Can I bring my girlfriend/boyfriend?

Answer

No, John Mulaney. You cannot bring your girlfriend. If your invitation included a plus one, you get a plus one. We are trying to keep the purpose of this gathering at the center of choosing our guest list, and adding people we are not familiar with deters from the purpose.

Question

Can I bring my child?

Answer

Absolutely! There is even a playground outside the venue for your kid to go play! We encourage you to keep an eye on your child during the ceremony and dinner, but after that, let them go roam free.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

I wish I could look ahead, but alas, I am merely mortal. Our venue has an indoor and outdoor space to hold the ceremony, and the reception will be held inside. If it is nice out, during the reception, feel free to roam outside.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

To prevent anybody from getting too turnt, there will not be alcohol. If you want to drink, do it before or after.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a wonderful gravel lot. We ask that the front four spots are left for the wedding party.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

No, thank you. We have hired a fantastic photographer. Put your phones and iPad's away, this isn't a children's dance recital, sit back, relax and enjoy the show. We also appreciate it if you keep your cameras away until after dinner. I get it, Kurt is absolutely adorable, but please keep them away.

Question

So, are we playing a game of Monopoly after the reception?

Answer

The bride and groom will be turning in for the night promptly at the end of the reception. Everyone else is more than welcome to make plans afterwards, find a place to hang out, and keep the party going.

Question

Can I propose to my partner at your wedding?

Answer

Don't you dare.
