Wedding Party

Danielle Allen-Marsh

Matron of Honor

I met Danielle in Kindergarten: the first time we had a substitute teacher, I cried because he was a stranger, and Danielle consoled me on the reading carpet. She has consoled and supported me through every season of life ever since - her family is my family too now. - Courtney

Michael Urso

Best Man

Brother of the Groom My little brother and first roommate. We've shared many things over the years, including alternative music tastes and an odd sense of humor. In short, Michael is the best brother a guy could ask for and I'm lucky to call him my best man. -Patrick

Jessica Thieda

Bridesmaid

I met Jessica in Mr. Bagan's 2nd grade classroom, and our friendship was set in stone upon attending Jessica's Barbie-themed 8th birthday party. In addition to sharing Barbies, we have shared countless memories, including living in Michigan's Upper Peninsula together. - Courtney

Vinnie Carter

Groomsman

Vinnie and I rode to school on the same bus in elementary. In kindergarten, he would sit next to me, tell me a joke, and proceed to tickle me when I laughed at his joke. I didn't like that. Things were off to a rough start, but by 1st grade Vinnie became my best friend for life. -Patrick

Justine Metz

Bridesmaid

I also met Justine in elementary school, bonding over Spice Girls. When we got to middle school, we shared school bus routes, cafeteria fries, and Mrs. Nakamura's homework detention. Despite the homework detention, we both attended Michigan Tech together, bonding over an entire lifetime of shared memories. - Courtney

Jon Clarkson

Groomsman

I met Jon during the 1st weekend of College, in the dorm room while I was practicing my trumpet. We walked all the way from midtown to downtown for the Jazz Festival. We were pretty much inseparable throughout college. Jon and his wife, Allie, have always treated me like family, and I feel so lucky for that. -Patrick

Carolyn Woldring

Bridesmaid

Carolyn was my first roommate at Michigan Tech, and as an "only" child, my first roommate ever. Once we laughed at the same jokes in the same movies, we knew the rooming situation would not be a disaster. After living as roommates for 2 years, Carolyn became my sister by joining the same sorority I had joined - Theta Chi Epsilon (local to Michigan Tech). - Courtney

Mike Lerner

Groomsman

I met Mike (AKA Roach) while pledging, Theta Tau. I looked up to him, since he was one of the cool older brothers who lived at the house. After moving out of the fraternity house, he moved to a cool downtown apartment building with a rooftop pool, so I moved there too! I was lucky enough to watch Mike propose to Jess (AKA Bovice-also a brother) during our trip to New Zealand. I'm grateful to have such an awesome friend and brother, who is also a Pokemon Master. -Patrick

Ann Marie Cantrell

Bridesmaid

Ann Marie is Patrick's sister who was mistaken as his twin through his early childhood. Even though I have two siblings, they grew up separately from me - so I grew up an "only" child who constantly wished for a sister. I would not dream of getting married without my new sister by my side. - Courtney

Nick Cantrell

Groomsman

Brother-in-Law of Groom Nick married my sister. So now she has to live in Ohio. But I get it. Nick's a great guy and has always been fun to hang out with. He's raising two daughters, so he might not be the party animal he used to be, but watch him get wild out on the dance floor TONIGHT!! -Patrick
