A cool location with a few small restaurants and a bar. Fire and Brimstone has some fun and tasty pizzas to try! (Juniper liked the Big Dill & Marlow liked the Baked Potato pizza) For dessert, Cream of the Crop makes their own artisan ice creams, which are also delicious!
Visit Gilbert's Heritage District, right near the venue! Shop, dine, and see some sights!
If you're more *indoorsy*, Chandler Fashion Center is a fun place to spend a day! They have most of the standard mall shops, an impressive food court, and a Crayola Experience Store (great for kids and adults!).
If you're in town a day or two early, consider stopping by the Ostrich festival! We went in 2022 and had a great time riding the rides and seeing the animals! Plus, it ties into our Ostrich story! The festival will be open Friday from 2 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday starting at 11 a.m. (but make sure to give yourself time to get changed for the wedding!)
This month is chock-full of fun festivities! If you're in town early, check out the Renaissance Festival, open weekends from 10-6 (just don't be late to the wedding!)
It's a bit of a hike from Chandler, but this is the zoo where we went on our first date--meet the homophobic ostriches in the flesh!
